Over the years, I’ve come to realize that there are different levels of awareness and understanding.
There’s knowledge, wisdom and revelation. Knowledge is simply a knowing of facts or the memorization of raw data, i.e. 2+2 = 4, the capital of New York is Albany, the pie is bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes – you get the picture.
It’s only after you gain an understanding of how to use your store house of data that you start moving towards wisdom, i.e., 2 scoops of ice cream, 2 times a day, will make you too big 4 your pants, remember to pre-heat the oven before you put the pie in for the best results.
Knowledge and wisdom are needed to be able
To function and enjoy life,
YET I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A HIGHER LEVEL OF CONSIDERATION;
“The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their Praise of Him endures forever.”
Psalms 111:10 [AMP]
Take a look at the key scriptures for day thirty-five again,
“Now when Jesus went into the region of Ceasarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, Who do people say that the Son of Man is? Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Then Jesus answered him, blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [man] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros – a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, Petra – A huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it]. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16: 13, 16 – 19 [AMP]
Notice that Jesus called Peter blessed for receiving a Truth found outside traditional or customary learning. “For flesh and blood [man] have not revealed this to you…”
It’s important to be open to the truth that there are different levels of learning, knowing and of understanding.
That the answer that you need might be hiding in
a strange or unfamiliar place.
Albert Einstein once stated,
“No problem can be solved from the same state of mind that created it.”
I submit to you that much of the time;
THE PROBLEMS THAT WE FACE IN LIFE ARE OPPORTUNITIES
TO ALLOW GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT
TO ASSIST US IN DISCOVERING AND DEVELOPING
THE STRENGTH, TALENTS AND GIFTS
THAT LAY DORMANT INSIDE OF US.
That the greatest purpose found in any problem is
To give us a chance to seek out God’s desire for the situation
And to then surrender to His will for us, no matter what it appears
To cost us in the present moment.
Remember, at the end of His earthly ministry, when faced with death,
Jesus valued obedience over comfort and survival,
“And He was saying, Abba, [which means] Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You [will].”
Mark 14:36 [AMP]
It would be foolish not to acknowledge that
The spirit of fear is always around at times like these.
It takes courage to walk away from the safety and comfort of the crowd. To stand up when everyone else is sitting down, to take a stance when everyone else are tucked safely in their comfort zone, it takes courage to see yourself as a joint-heir of Jesus (Romans 8:17). After all Satan in looking for someone, he may devour.
It’s crucial to keep in mind that
COURAGE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR
BUT TO TAKE THE NEEDED ACTION
In spite of how you may or may not feel and
TO KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON THE BIGGER PICTURE.
“Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief ] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:2 [AMP]
The King James version says that Jesus is “…the Author and Finisher of our faith”. Not only did He write your personal story, but also He includes a triumphant ending greater than any movie that you have or will ever see in your life.
You win, but only if you continue to abide in God’s Word.
THE PRIZE THAT JESUS WENT TO THE CROSS FOR
WAS YOU AND TO EMPOWER YOU
TO DO THE FATHER’S WILL,
TO BE HIS HANDS AND
REPRESENTATIVE HERE ON EARTH.
“And He died for all so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to and for Him Who died and was raised again for their sake, so we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divining favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:15, 20 [AMP]
This can only be done successfully through
The power of God’s Holy Spirit.
“But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]”
John 14:26, 27 [AMP]
ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS THAT ANY PARENT CAN GIVE TO ANY
CHILD IS TO HELP THEM
TO LIVE UP TO THEIR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL.
It’s only by surrendering to God’s Holy Spirit, the very Same Spirit
Who is living inside of us at this very moment in time that we can tap
Into our highest potential, to become and act just like our big brother
Jesus, our LORD AND SAVIOR.
“The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].”
1 John 3:8b [AMP]
FOR ME, REVELATION IS WHERE
GOD AND GOD ALONE
GETS ALL OF THE HONOR AND GLORY
EVEN THOUGH I AND/OR OTHERS ARE
THE ONES WHO ENJOY THE BENEFITS.
IT IS WHEN GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONE WHO
TURNS ON THE LIGHT BULB IN MY HEAD.
